Regent Seven Seas Cruises fares, for a seven-night cruise, have an average starting price of approximately $6,700 per person, while a ten-night cruise averages around $8,600 per person.
The average starting fare works out at approximately $900 per person per night.
Prices vary considerably by destination, ship, departure date and suite category. Seven-night cruises in our analysis started from $5,249 per person, with Caribbean and transatlantic itineraries generally offering lower nightly fares. Alaska and Northern Europe tended to command higher prices than comparable-length Mediterranean and Caribbean sailings respectively.
At Strictly Regent, we can help you compare itineraries and suite options to find a Regent cruise that suits your preferences and budget.
Figures reflect advertised starting fares, per person based on two guests sharing a suite, including taxes and fees. They are a guide rather than a live quote; prices and availability can change.
-
Regent Seven Seas Cruises fares include your suite accommodation, dining in all onboard restaurants—including specialty restaurants—plus drinks, gratuities, Wi-Fi and a wide selection of shore excursions.
Your Regent cruise fare includes:
Dining: All meals, specialty restaurants and 24-hour in-suite dining.
Drinks: Wines, spirits, cocktails, soft drinks, specialty coffees and a minibar replenished daily.
Shore excursions: Unlimited excursions from the included selection, subject to availability and scheduling.
Gratuities: Prepaid tips for onboard service.
Wi-Fi: Unlimited internet access.
Laundry: Valet laundry service.
Onboard experiences: Entertainment, enrichment activities and access to spa facilities.
Guests staying in Concierge Suites and above also receive a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, while Penthouse Suites and above include a dedicated butler.
Flights can be arranged at an additional cost through Regent’s optional air service. At Strictly Regent, we’ll explain the inclusions attached to your chosen suite and fare so you know exactly what your booking covers.
-
Although Regent Seven Seas Cruises includes most onboard essentials, some optional experiences and personal expenses cost extra. These include:
Selected shore experiences: Regent Choice excursions, private car tours and overland programs carry additional charges.
Spa and salon treatments: Massages, facials and beauty services generally cost extra, although access to spa facilities is included.
Ultra-premium wines and spirits: These are available at an additional charge alongside Regent’s extensive included drinks selection.
Cooking classes: Hands-on Culinary Arts Kitchen classes carry a fee on ships offering them.
Personal spending: Boutique purchases, casino play and travel insurance are additional expenses.
Flights and trip extensions: Air travel, extra hotel nights, transfers and pre- or post-cruise land programs cost extra unless specifically included in your booking.
Some suite categories, loyalty benefits and promotional offers include additional amenities. At Strictly Regent, we’ll explain what is covered by your chosen fare and help you budget for any extras before you book.
-
Regent Seven Seas cruises can offer excellent value for travelers who want spacious suite accommodation, attentive service and an inclusive vacation with fewer additional expenses. The strongest comparison is the total cost of your trip, including the extras you would otherwise pay for.
Regent’s fares include specialty dining, drinks, gratuities, Wi-Fi, valet laundry and a wide selection of shore excursions. If you enjoy guided excursions in most ports and regularly use these onboard services, the inclusions can make a substantial difference when comparing cruise prices.
The value also depends on how you travel. Guests who prefer independent sightseeing or private tours may get less financial benefit from the included excursions. Others place greater value on the convenience of having most arrangements and expenses covered before departure.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you compare similar itineraries and suite categories, taking account of the inclusions you’ll actually use, to decide whether Regent is the right choice for you.
-
We recommend booking your Regent Seven Seas cruise early if you have a particular itinerary, departure date or suite in mind. Booking when a voyage first becomes available gives you more choice, especially if your preferred suite category or location is important to you.
If your plans are flexible, promotional offers on selected sailings can provide attractive savings. However, waiting for a sale means accepting that your preferred cruise or suite may no longer be available. Early booking gives you greater choice, but does not guarantee the lowest price.
If the price of your cruise drops after you book, we’ll go to bat on your behalf. Our relationship with Regent allows us to advocate for you and request that the lower fare be applied to your reservation. We can’t guarantee an adjustment, as eligibility depends on the fare you booked, the new offer’s conditions and when the change is requested, but we’ll pursue the options available.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you assess current offers, understand the booking conditions and decide whether to secure your preferred sailing or explore alternatives that offer better value.
-
Yes. Regent Seven Seas Cruises includes a wide selection of wines, Champagne, beers, spirits and cocktails in your cruise fare, alongside soft drinks, specialty coffees and teas. There is no need to purchase a separate drinks package.
You can enjoy included drinks in the ship’s bars, lounges and restaurants. Your suite also has a minibar that is replenished daily and can be stocked according to your preferences from the available selection.
Selected ultra-premium wines, Champagnes and spirits carry an additional charge, so not every bottle on the wine list is included. However, there is an extensive complimentary selection to enjoy throughout your cruise.
If you have a particular favourite drink, let us know before sailing and we can check availability with Regent.
-
Yes. All specialty restaurants on Regent Seven Seas Cruises are included in your cruise fare, with no additional dining charge or restaurant package to purchase.
Depending on your ship, you can enjoy the steakhouse menu at Prime 7, French cuisine at Chartreuse, and Pan-Asian dishes at Pacific Rim. Seven Seas Prestige also introduces Azure, featuring Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.
Some restaurants require dinner reservations, and preferred dates and times are subject to availability. Included dining does not mean unrestricted reservations every evening, so we recommend planning ahead when your dining booking window opens.
You can also enjoy the ship’s other included restaurants and 24-hour in-suite dining. Selected ultra-premium wines and spirits carry an additional charge.
-
Yes. Onboard gratuities are included in your Regent Seven Seas cruise fare, so you do not need to budget for a separate daily tipping charge or additional tips for your suite attendant, restaurant staff or butler.
If you would like to recognise exceptional service with an extra tip, that is a personal choice rather than an obligation. You can also thank individual crew members by naming them in your guest feedback.
Tipping ashore is separate. Gratuities for local guides, drivers and hotel staff may not be included in your excursion or land program, so check the specific arrangements and local customs. We can help clarify what is covered before you travel.
Choosing
Ship&Suite
-
The best Regent Seven Seas ship for you depends on your itinerary, preferred suite and the onboard experience you enjoy. We recommend comparing the destination and ship together.
Seven Seas Prestige: Consider Prestige for its spacious design, distinctive suite options and Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, Azure. It’s particularly appealing if the ship itself is a major part of your vacation.
Seven Seas Grandeur, Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Explorer: These sister ships are a strong starting point if dining choice and contemporary surroundings are priorities. All three feature Prime 7, Chartreuse and Pacific Rim, alongside a wide range of balcony suites.
Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner: Consider these established ships if their itinerary particularly appeals to you. Both offer all-suite, all-balcony accommodation, with different suite layouts and onboard facilities from Prestige and the Explorer-class ships.
Seven Seas Navigator: Regent’s smallest ship offers a more intimate setting, with fewer dining venues. Some entry-level suites have a window rather than a balcony, so choosing the right category matters.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you compare the actual suite, dining options and itinerary available on each ship. The best choice is the one that brings together the places you want to visit and the comforts you value most.
-
Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ suite categories differ mainly in size, layout, location, balcony space and additional benefits. Every category includes Regent’s core all-inclusive experience, including dining, drinks, included shore excursions, Wi-Fi and gratuities.
Entry-level and Superior Suites: These offer the core Regent experience, with layouts and sizes varying by ship. Most have private balconies, although Seven Seas Navigator also offers window suites.
Concierge Suites: Add benefits such as priority online dining and shore excursion reservations, plus a one-night pre-cruise hotel package, subject to its terms. The upgrade may be primarily about benefits and location rather than a substantially larger suite.
Penthouse Suites: Include Concierge-level benefits alongside a personal butler and additional in-suite amenities. Depending on the ship, they may also offer more space or a different layout.
Higher suite categories: Options such as Seven Seas, Grand, Master and Signature Suites provide more generous accommodation and additional privileges, with some offering separate bedrooms, dining areas or expansive balconies.
Ship-specific suites: Seven Seas Prestige adds options including Grand Loft and Skyview Suites, with distinctive layouts such as two-story accommodation and private terraces.
The same suite name does not guarantee the same size or layout across different ships. At Strictly Regent, we’ll compare the floor plans, balcony dimensions and benefits of your available options so you can decide which upgrade is worthwhile.
-
A Regent Concierge Suite can be worth the upgrade if you value earlier access to dining and shore excursion reservations and will use the included one-night pre-cruise hotel package.
The hotel package includes a transfer from the hotel to the ship, subject to availability and booking conditions. If you would otherwise pay for a hotel and that transfer separately, compare those costs with the total upgrade price for your suite.
Priority reservations are another useful benefit, particularly if you have specific excursions or dining preferences. Earlier access gives you a head start, although it does not guarantee every requested tour or restaurant time.
The accommodation itself also matters. Concierge Suites are not always substantially larger than lower categories; depending on the ship, the difference may be primarily location and added amenities.
If you already have hotel arrangements and are flexible about reservations, a lower suite category may offer better value. At Strictly Regent, we’ll compare the actual price difference, suite layout and benefits you’ll use before recommending an upgrade.
-
The main difference is that Regent Penthouse Suites include a personal butler, additional in-suite amenities and, on many ships, more space or a different layout.
Concierge Suites include a one-night pre-cruise hotel package, subject to availability and booking conditions, plus priority online reservations for specialty dining and shore excursions.
Penthouse Suites include those Concierge benefits and add personal butler service, daily canapés and upgraded bath amenities. The accommodation varies by ship: some Penthouse Suites offer separate living and sleeping areas, while others have a similar footprint to Concierge Suites.
For example, aboard Seven Seas Prestige, Penthouse Suites feature a bedroom that can be separated from the living area with a pocket door, plus a spacious walk-through closet.
Both categories receive Regent’s core all-inclusive dining, drinks and shore excursion benefits. Choosing Penthouse is primarily about the additional service and the particular suite’s space and layout.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll compare the floor plans and price difference on your chosen ship to help you decide whether the upgrade is worthwhile.
-
Personal butler service is included in Penthouse Suites and all higher suite categories aboard Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Concierge Suites and lower categories do not include a butler.
Your butler helps personalise your stay and takes care of practical details, including:
Assisting with unpacking and packing, if you wish.
Arranging garment pressing and coordinating laundry requests.
Serving in-suite meals and delivering daily canapés.
Helping with personal requests and coordinating arrangements with the relevant onboard teams.
The exact dining options and additional services depend on your suite category. Some higher suites include further privileges, such as specialty restaurant dishes served in your suite during dining hours.
You can use the service as much or as little as you prefer. Whether you enjoy breakfast in your suite or appreciate help preparing for an evening ashore, your butler provides an additional level of personal attention throughout your cruise.
-
The best Regent suite location depends on your preferences for motion, quiet, views and convenience. Choose the specific suite carefully, rather than relying on its category alone, as layouts and balconies can vary within the same category.
For less movement: A suite near the middle of the ship on a lower accommodation deck generally experiences less motion than one high up or towards the bow. No location eliminates movement entirely.
For quieter surroundings: We recommend checking what is directly above, below and beside your suite. Suites surrounded by other accommodation are often a good starting point; locations beneath pool decks or near entertainment venues deserve closer inspection.
For convenience: Consider the walking distance to elevators, restaurants and the facilities you expect to use most.
For balcony space and views: Check the individual balcony dimensions and any deck-plan notes about railings, overhangs or obstructions.
For port or starboard: Neither side is universally better. The route, direction of travel and how the ship docks all affect your view.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll review the deck plan and available suite numbers with you to find a location that suits how you travel.
-
Yes. Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers designated accessible suites, with features that vary by ship and individual suite. These may include roll-in showers, shower seats, grab bars and adaptations to improve wheelchair access.
Accessible suites are available in selected categories, so we recommend enquiring early and confirming the specific suite’s features before booking. A standard suite with a walk-in shower is not necessarily wheelchair accessible.
Tell us about your requirements, including any mobility equipment you use, so we can check details such as doorway widths, bathroom arrangements, balcony access and space around the bed with Regent.
It is also important to consider accessibility throughout your journey, including airport transfers, hotels, going ashore and excursions.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll work with you and Regent to check the suitability of the available accommodation and arrangements for your individual needs.
Booking your
Regent Cruise
-
You can book Regent Seven Seas Cruises directly, but a specialist travel advisor adds personal guidance and support throughout your booking.
At Strictly Regent, Zak Winduss and Steven Shulem help you compare ships, itineraries and suite categories, explain fare conditions, and choose a cruise that suits your preferences. We’ll also check which promotions and additional booking benefits are available for your sailing.
Our support continues after you book. If you have questions, need to request a change or encounter a problem, you have someone to contact who knows your reservation and can speak with Regent on your behalf.
If your cruise fare drops, we’ll advocate for an adjustment where possible. Results depend on your booking conditions and the new offer, but our relationship with Regent gives us a direct avenue to pursue the options available.
Booking through Strictly Regent means having an advisor who takes the time to understand your trip and remains involved beyond the initial reservation.
-
Booking your Regent Seven Seas cruise with Strictly Regent combines personal advice from Zak Winduss and Steven Shulem with access to additional booking benefits, where available.
Through Strictly Vacations and our membership of Signature Travel Network, we can offer added amenities on eligible sailings, which may include shipboard credit and exclusive offers. The benefits vary by voyage, suite and promotion, and we’ll confirm exactly what applies in your personalised quote.
We’ll also help you compare ships and suites, understand the fare conditions and coordinate arrangements such as hotels and transfers. After booking, you have a familiar point of contact for questions, changes and support.
If your cruise price drops, we’ll go to bat on your behalf with Regent to request an adjustment. We cannot guarantee the outcome, as it depends on your fare and the new offer’s conditions, but we’ll pursue the options available.
Our aim is to give you both additional value and someone you can rely on throughout the planning process
-
Flights are not automatically included in every Regent cruise fare. Whether airfare is covered depends on the package and promotional offer you book.
For guests in the United States and Canada, Regent offers an optional Air Concierge service. Flights are priced separately, with options tailored to your departure airport, preferred airline, cabin class and travel dates, subject to availability.
Participating guests also receive complimentary coach transfers between the airport and ship on embarkation and disembarkation days, plus a Blacklane private chauffeur credit of up to $500 per suite, subject to the program’s terms.
You may see older Regent materials referring to included flights or “Ultimate All-Inclusive” fares. Air Concierge replaced that pricing option for new US and Canadian bookings from April 2026, so it is important to check the inclusions of your particular reservation.
At Strictly Regent, we can compare Regent’s air options with independently arranged flights and confirm exactly what your quote includes before you book.
-
Pre-cruise hotels and transfers depend on your suite category and travel arrangements. They are not automatically included with every Regent Seven Seas cruise booking.
Guests in Concierge Suites and above receive a one-night pre-cruise hotel package for the first two guests in the suite, subject to availability and booking conditions. This includes the transfer from Regent’s designated hotel to the ship. Airport-to-hotel transportation is not automatically included with this suite benefit.
For guests using Regent’s optional Air Concierge program, complimentary coach transfers are provided between the airport and ship on embarkation and disembarkation days. Different arrival dates or a hotel stay may require separate arrangements.
Additional hotel nights, post-cruise stays and private transfers can be arranged at an extra cost unless included in a specific offer or benefit.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll check each part of your journey—from airport arrival to embarkation—and confirm which hotels and transfers are included and which need to be booked separately.
-
Yes. Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers reduced single supplements on selected sailings and suite categories, making it more affordable to enjoy a suite on your own.
A single supplement is the additional amount charged when one guest occupies accommodation normally priced for two people sharing. A reduced supplement lowers that additional charge—it does not necessarily mean a discount on the advertised per-person fare.
The supplement available depends on the voyage, suite category and offer. Solo promotions are capacity-controlled and may change or be withdrawn, so flexibility with your departure date or destination can help you find better value.
It is also important to compare the total solo fare, as reduced single supplements may not combine with every other promotion.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll check the available solo offers for your preferred destinations and provide a personalised price for sole occupancy, so you know exactly what you’ll pay.
Life Onboard
A Regent Cruise
-
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has a relaxed resort-style dress code during the day and an Elegant Casual dress code after 6 p.m. You can dress more formally in the evening if you wish, but jackets and ties are not required.
During the day, shorts, jeans, casual clothing and sneakers are welcome. Swimwear is appropriate on the outdoor pool deck and at the Pool Bar and Grill, but not inside the ship.
In the evening, suitable choices include trousers with a collared shirt, dresses, skirts, or trousers with a blouse or sweater. Smart jeans without rips or distressing and clean dress sneakers in neutral or classic colours are also permitted, including in restaurants.
T-shirts, shorts, baseball caps, athletic shoes, flip-flops and bathrobes are not appropriate in evening social spaces.
For packing, we recommend comfortable daytime outfits and a few versatile evening combinations. Bring formalwear only if dressing up is something you enjoy.
-
Yes. Unlimited Wi-Fi is included on Regent Seven Seas Cruises, allowing you to browse the internet, check emails and stay in touch while travelling. The number of simultaneous device connections depends on your suite category.
Video calls and streaming may require a streaming upgrade, which costs extra unless included with your suite or another applicable benefit. Included Wi-Fi should not be assumed to cover every app or internet activity.
Video calling is possible when your package supports it and the connection is sufficient, but uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. Internet performance at sea varies with the ship’s location, satellite coverage and demand onboard.
If you need to attend work meetings or make regular video calls, tell us before booking. At Strictly Regent, we’ll check the internet benefits attached to your suite and the available upgrade options so you can plan accordingly.
-
Yes. Valet laundry is included for guests in every suite category on Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The service covers washing, pressing and folding, making it easier to pack light, especially for longer voyages.
Dry cleaning is separate from the standard included laundry service and may carry an additional charge unless covered by your suite amenities or Seven Seas Society loyalty benefits.
Plan your final laundry collection ahead of time: the included valet service is not available on the final full day of your cruise or on disembarkation day. Your suite attendant can explain collection times and when to expect your clothes back.
At Strictly Regent, we can confirm any additional laundry or dry-cleaning benefits attached to your suite and loyalty status before you travel.
-
Regent specialty dining reservations generally open 75 days before sailing, or 90 days before sailing for guests in Concierge Suites and above. Regent specifies an opening time of 8 p.m. US Eastern Time.
You can reserve through the Dining Reservations section of your Regent online account, under your booked cruise. We recommend checking your reservation’s opening date and booking promptly if you have preferred restaurants or dining times.
Guests can generally make one advance dinner reservation per specialty restaurant. Additional visits can be requested onboard, subject to availability. Certain higher suite categories have additional dining privileges, which we’ll confirm for your booking.
If your preferred time is unavailable, try another evening or ask the onboard dining team about openings. Being flexible with your dining time or willingness to share a table may help.
You do not need to reserve every meal: restaurants such as Compass Rose offer open seating. At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you understand your booking window and plan around your itinerary.
-
Regent Seven Seas Cruises can cater for many dietary requirements, with plant-based options available and special dietary requests considered in advance. Tell us about any food allergies, intolerances or specific dietary needs when you book, so we can confirm the arrangements with Regent.
Regent requests notice of special dietary requirements, including kosher meals, at least 120 days before voyages embarking in the United States and 150 days before other voyages. If you are booking closer to departure, contact us promptly so we can check what is possible.
Once onboard, speak with the restaurant manager or maître d’ before your first meal and remind your server of any allergies whenever you dine. A dietary preference and a food allergy require different handling, so explain your needs clearly.
For severe allergies or complex requirements, we’ll seek specific confirmation from Regent before you commit. Individual arrangements should be checked rather than assuming every restaurant or dish will be suitable.
-
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is not adults-only. Children are welcome, although the onboard experience focuses on dining, destinations and a relaxed atmosphere rather than extensive family entertainment.
Infants must generally be at least six months old on embarkation day. For itineraries with three or more consecutive days at sea, the minimum age is 12 months. Guests under 18 must share a suite with a parent or another responsible adult aged 18 or over.
On selected sailings, Regent offers its Club Mariner Youth Program for ages 5–17, with supervised activities such as games, movie nights and creative workshops. The program is not available on every voyage, so we recommend confirming it before booking.
Regent can suit families who enjoy exploring together and appreciate a quieter luxury cruise. At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you check the age requirements, suite occupancy and children’s activities available on your preferred sailing.
-
Regent Seven Seas Cruises generally attracts guests aged 50 and over, including many travellers in their 60s and 70s. However, the mix varies by itinerary, voyage length and time of year, and younger adults and families also sail.
There is no single average age that reliably describes every Regent cruise. For choosing your sailing, the onboard atmosphere is often more useful than an exact demographic figure: Regent focuses on destination exploration, dining, enrichment and relaxed socialising.
You do not need to be retired to enjoy Regent. It can suit younger travellers who appreciate spacious accommodation, attentive service and a quieter setting.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you consider the likely atmosphere of your preferred voyage alongside the itinerary and ship, so you can choose an experience that suits your interests.
-
Yes. Regent Seven Seas Cruises can be a good choice for solo travellers who want a relaxed luxury experience with opportunities to meet other guests.
Regent offers hosted social gatherings for solo travellers, providing an easy introduction to fellow guests over drinks, conversation or dinner. You can dine independently, join fellow solo travellers or request a sharing table, depending on your preference and availability.
Included shore excursions also provide a natural way to explore with others, while lectures, activities and evening entertainment offer further opportunities to connect. Participation is entirely your choice, leaving plenty of time to enjoy your suite and travel at your own pace.
The main consideration is price: occupying a suite alone usually involves a single supplement, although Regent offers reduced supplements on selected voyages.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you compare solo fares and choose a ship and itinerary that suit your interests and preferred balance of company and independence.
Planning SHore
Excursions
-
Yes. Regent Seven Seas Cruises includes a wide selection of shore excursions in every suite category, allowing you to explore your destinations without paying separately for each included tour.
Depending on your itinerary, options may include guided sightseeing, cultural visits, nature experiences and more active outings. Each port’s selection varies, so check the excursions offered for your particular sailing.
Regent describes this benefit as “unlimited shore excursions,” but reservations remain subject to availability, tour capacity and scheduling. It does not mean every excursion is complimentary or that every preferred tour is guaranteed.
Regent Choice Shore Excursions, private arrangements and overland programs generally carry additional charges. These are identified separately when you review your options.
We recommend reserving your preferred excursions when your booking window opens. At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you understand the choices and compare tours against your interests, preferred pace and mobility requirements.
-
Included shore excursions are covered by your Regent cruise fare, while Regent Choice Shore Excursions carry an additional charge.
The included selection offers a variety of ways to explore, from guided sightseeing and cultural visits to nature outings and active experiences, depending on the port.
Regent Choice excursions offer particular experiences that go beyond the included selection. These may feature smaller groups, specialist activities, culinary experiences or different itineraries. The description and price will explain what each tour offers.
A paid excursion is not automatically the best choice for you. Compare the places visited, group size where specified, travelling time, activity level and any meals or admissions included. An included tour may cover exactly what you want to see.
You can mix included excursions with Regent Choice experiences throughout your cruise. At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you compare the options and decide where an additional charge is worthwhile.
-
Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ shore excursion booking windows depend on your suite category, Seven Seas Society loyalty status and voyage type:
240 days before sailing: World Cruise and Grand Voyage guests.
210 days before sailing: Guests in Concierge Suites and above, plus Seven Seas Society members at Silver level or higher.
180 days before sailing: All other guests.
You can reserve through your Regent online account by selecting your booking and opening Customize Shore Excursions. Both included excursions and paid Regent Choice options can be booked in advance.
We recommend reviewing the excursion descriptions beforehand and reserving your favourites when your window opens, as places are subject to availability.
Pre-cruise excursion reservations close seven days before sailing. After that, speak with the onboard Destination Services team about available options.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you confirm the booking date that applies to your reservation so you can plan ahead.
-
Yes. You can book more than one included Regent shore excursion in the same day, provided places are available and the schedules allow it.
Regent requires at least 75 minutes between tours operating on the same day in port. For example, if your morning excursion finishes at noon, your next tour must start no earlier than 1:15 p.m.
Whether two excursions are practical depends on their duration, departure times and how long the ship stays in port. A full-day tour may leave no opportunity for another outing.
We recommend checking the activity levels as well as the timings. Two tours can make for a rewarding day, but you may prefer a single excursion followed by free time to explore or relax.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you review the available combinations and plan a pace that suits you.
-
If your preferred Regent shore excursion is fully booked, ask to join the waitlist where available. A waitlisted request is not a confirmed reservation, but places may become available if other guests cancel or Regent secures additional capacity.
Regent works with local operators to request extra places, guides or transport where possible. Its published policy states that waitlists are cleared in the order requests were received when space becomes available. There is no guaranteed confirmation date or assurance that every request will be accommodated.
We recommend considering an alternative excursion while you wait. Before confirming a backup, check whether it affects your waitlisted request and review any cancellation conditions, particularly for paid tours.
If your request remains unconfirmed when you board, speak with the Destination Services team about the latest availability.
At Strictly Regent, we’ll help you check your options and follow up with Regent, while making sure you have a practical plan for your day ashore.
-
Yes. You can explore independently, arrange a private tour or join Regent’s included excursions, subject to any local restrictions. You can choose a different approach in each port.
For a personalised experience, Regent’s Executive Collection offers private vehicles with a driver and/or English-speaking guide in selected destinations. Bespoke arrangements may also be available, allowing you to tailor your day around particular interests, a preferred pace or accessibility requirements. Private arrangements generally cost extra unless covered by a specific suite benefit.
You can also arrange a tour independently. Check the collection point, travel distances, cancellation terms and the ship’s all-aboard time, allowing a generous margin for your return. When exploring independently, you are responsible for getting back to the ship on time.
At Strictly Regent, we can help you compare included tours, Regent’s private options and independent arrangements to find the best fit for your day ashore.
